Ink blowing!

At the Cape Academy Math, Science and Technology, we have a Mandarin class where we try to expose learners to different Chinese cultures. And today, Ms Evelyn Liu (one of the Mandarin teachers) introduced ink blowing.

What is Ink Blowing?

It is one of the Chinese painting methods. It is similar to the title; you put some black ink on the paper and start to blow there. After that, you can add different colours to brighten up your painting. Zhumoyun first introduced it. In China, we usually paint plum blossoms, chrysanthemums, bamboo, orchids etc.
