High school movie date!

The Wandering Earth two premiered in Cape Town on the 10th of March. This movie is about humans building massive engines on the earth's surface to find a new home. But the road to the universe is perilous. To save the planet, young people once again have to step forward to start a race against time for life and death.

On the 17th of March, Confucius Classroom of Cape Academy of Maths, Science and Technology (CAMST) organised over 100 seats for high school learners and their parents to experience this Chinese science fiction movie at the Blue Route Mall, Constantia. The director of the Confucius Classroom of CAMST, Dr Iris Wu, expressed that it is an excellent opportunity for learners acquiring Mandarin to view and experience Chinese cultures. She also hoped that learners understood the story and the characterisation in the movie and that we must be brave and firmly pursue our dreams in the future.
